Rudolph Maynard Herspold

Rudolph Maynard Herspold, 60, of Perryopolis, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012. He was born Aug. 30, 1951, in Charleroi, the son of Martha Natola Herspold and the late Rudolph Herspold. He was a member of the Santa Barbara Club in Newell, Sons of Italy, Sokol Club, and was a social member of the VFW, all of Perryopolis. He is survived by his mother, Martha; one brother, Brad Herspold, of Perryopolis; two nephews, Brett Jacob Herspold and Brad Lee Herspold, both of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two cousins, Timothy Herspold and William Powers, both of Perryopolis; numerous other cousins; and one best friend, Christine Gantner, of Vanderbilt. He was preceded in death by his father, Rudolph "Rudy" Herspold. Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME INC., 305 Rear Independence St., Perryopolis, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday until 10 a.m., the hour of service. Pastor Edward Arbogast Jr. will be officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.
