Russell Reynolds Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 6, 2022.
Russell Alan Reynolds, 58, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Melvin and Norma Reynolds. Russ is survived by his wife of 31 years, Kate Reynolds, and their daughters Chelsea Reynolds and Madelyn Reynolds; his brother, Randy Reynolds, and his wife Rebecca; mother-in-law, Patricia Young, and father-in-law, the late Gary Young; sisters-and brothers-in-law, Kelly and Scott Benson; Sarah and Joe Doyle; and Bill and Kristen Young; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members; an extensive group of wonderful friends; and his beloved dog, Birdie.

Russ grew up in Tulsa and graduated from East Central High School. He attended the University of Oklahoma and was a member of the Phi Kappa Sigma fraternity. Russ, a Sooner fan to his core, and Kate, an Oklahoma State University graduate, enjoyed their bedlam sports rivalry every year. Russ was blessed with many talents and his projects over the years reflected his ingenuity and wonderful vision for beautifying his homes, yards, and neighborhoods.

Russ loved his wife and daughters deeply and shared his affection with them easily and often. They are grateful for his love and take comfort that it is only farewell for now and that they will someday be reunited with him.

Memorial contributions may be made in Russ's honor to MD Anderson Cancer Center, The American Cancer Society, and Montgomery County Texas Animal Shelter.
