Dad, I can't believe it's been 9 years since I've last held you in my arms. We miss you two so much. We had a very busy year. You now have 7 great grandchildren and 1 on the way! I still listen to your messages to me, I'm so glad I have them! I look at your picture every morning when I wake and every evening before bed. I love you Patti

Russell and Barb, you were such wonderful grandparents for our pups, Otto and Rudy. Both loved being with you and your dear Precious. Jan and I knew that they were loved and safe with you. We will miss you.

Russell, you were always such an inspiration. No matter what life brought you, you always kept a smile on your face and was determined to try to do everything you could. I remember how badly you hurt after Barb was gone. I know it wasn't the same and it was a big part of you missing. I remember as your neighbor all the times I used to tease you watching you out the window and bringing you baked goods. Barb would yell at me and tell me I'm going to make you fat and I'm not the one that had to take care of you. You will be missed by so many Russ but you know what no more pain no more wheelchair and your home with Barb. My prayers to the family God bless you all, you were all wonderful and made his life so good.

Very thankful he was a part of my life. He became more than a person that I took care of, he was my friend. Always had kind words about his children and his family. Russell, I will miss you, and will treasure our time together. Your tough wisdom and tough love, will be a part of me forever. Every time I eat coffee cake and popcorn I will think of you..
