He is survived by his wife, Mayda; children, R. Shelton Voigt, Sarah Voigt, Rafael Dao Izaguirre, Maida Calvert and Ricardo Dao; brother, R. Douglas Voigt; sister, Virginia Lee Rawley and two grandchildren.
