BRADT -- Ruth Clark, of Stigler, was born July 31, 1917 in Stigler, OK to E.O. and Ina Clark and passed away July 28, 2005 in Muskogee, OK, at the age of 87. Ruth graduated from Stigler High School and attended Washington University and Oklahoma University. She worked for the Farmers Home Administration (now FSA) of the USDA for 43 years before retiring. She was a life long member of the First United Methodist Church of Stigler, where she taught Sunday school when she was young and sang in the choir until she was no longer able. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother and involved in scouting for many years. Ruth is survived by: her sister, Phebe Varner of Poteau; her son, Ed Bradt and wife, Sandy of Whitefield; grandson, Doug and wife, Jennifer of Austin, TX; nieces, Mimi Raney White and husband, Bob of Denver, CO, Janetta Stanley of Pacific Palisades, CA and Malinda Edris of Peru, NE; grandson, Ricky of Fort Smith, AR; granddaughter, Debbie of Fort Smith, AR; step-grandsons, Lance Farrell and wife, Liz of Floresville, TX and Victor Farrell of Dallas, TX; step-granddaughter, Lynn Farrell of Austin, TX; great-granddaughters, Hanna and Abby; step-great-granddaughter, Madison; step-great-grandsons, Tyler, Jordan, Mackinnon, and Brooks; and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at First United Methodist Church, Stigler with Rev. Rex Wilkes officiating. Burial will follow in Stigler City Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory (918) 967-2133. Pallbearers, Ernie Renfrow, Bill Cariker, Bill Nunn, Ralph White, Larry Godfrey, Johnny Garland. Honorary pallbearers, Sam Rose, Fred Fenton, John Brigham, Carl Rose, Austin Cox, Louis Fioretti, Doug Martin, Dr. Joe Bob Kirk and Dr. Thomas Conklin.
