Ruth I. (Wood, Somers) Faling
of Endicott
Ruth I. (Wood, Somers) Faling, 96, of Endicott, died at the Ideal Senior Living Center, Thursday, January 18, 2007. She was predeceased by her first husband, Raymond Somers, and her second husband, Marvin Faling. Survived by two daughters, Joyce Curtis, Endicott, Phyllis Burke, Endicott; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Roger and Helen Faling, Endicott, and Bruce Faling, Oregon; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Jackie Sammon and daughter, Holly, Bonnie Cornick and son, John, T. James Burke and daughter, Lindsay, Richard and Judy Burke and daughters, Shelley and Carrie and son, Matthew, Craig and Shelley Faling, Lynnell and David Marshall and daughter, Vanessa and son, David, and Cameron, Lincoln, Bruce, Chris, Eric, Alena and Trevor Faling; and many great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Endicott, a member of the Red Hat Club, and a member of the Eastern Star in Carbondale, Pa.
Funeral and Interment Services will be held Sunday, 6 p.m. from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, with the Reverend Jan Clark officiating. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal, N.Y. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, Sunday from 4 p.m. until service time at 6 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in Ruth's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
