Mr. Henry,
So sorry about your loss, just heard and I wish I could say more. I know what you are going through. I went up to see how you all were doing the next day after we talked at the hospital and they said that you all had gone home. Again, I am so sorry, trust in the Lord for comfort. You was such a great help to me in school and if I could help you just let me know.

I will miss Ruth Ann's laugh, humor and spending time with her. She was my cousin, a special person and I loved her very much. I am so thankful we had a wonderful time together on my last visit. David, you and your family are in my prayers.

I'm very sorry to hear of Ruth Ann's passing. I was several grades behind her at Bethel and always admired her good looks and congenial personality. May your sadness be diminished by loving memories and the promise of meeting again one day.

You will not remember me, but I remember Ruth Ann well. She was always like a ray of sunshine when we spoke. My children were at Bethel and AHS in the '70's and '80's and we lived on Watauga Rd for many years. I am sorry to hear of your dear loss.

Ruth Ann and I are distant cousins and even though we haven't communicated since childhood, I have many fond memories of Sunday afternoons playing with several Minton cousins. May God be with each member of the family as you grieve the loss of one so dear.

meeting and getting to know Ruth Ann as an annual visitor to Clifftop, West Virginia and the old time string band festival there is a cherished memory I'll have forever. Pulling in to the campsite after a long drive from Michigan it was usually the sight of David and Ruth Ann that let us know we finally made it to our destination. Feeling like a long lost son with a big hug from Ruth Ann, from someone she barely knows really does make you feel special-- and it takes someone special to give you that feeling. She is missed already--I know David will have some comfort in the many friends in the old time music community that knew, loved and will miss the dear spirit that was Ruth Ann.
