I am saddened by the passing of Mrs. Orlando. I also worked with her in HPD dispatch back in the early 70's. What a gracious caring person she was and it was an honor to have known her. I am so pleased that this special lady passed my way. My condolences to the Orlando family. God bless.

My deepest sympathy to Ruth's family. Ruth was such a lovely lady. I will always remember her beautiful smile and I always loved listening to her talk. I loved the sound of her voice. She was a good daughter to my Aunt Pauline as were all of Ruth's children. Now she will join all her loved ones that have passed before her and be with them for eternal life. I know John was waiting to greet her at the Gates of Heaven.

Tommy and I loved Ruth very much. Tommy has told me many stories of when Ruth and Marcella baby set him as a child. Tommy will cherish many memories of Ruth for the remainder of his life. He remembers going to Garner State Park and camping when they were also there. Many good memories.
We know you are at home now. May your soul remain blessed forever.
Our prayers are with the family during this very difficult time.

So sorry to learn of Ruth"s passing.
When I was a HPD dispatch division sergeant, Mrs. Orlando worked with us, taking emergency calls for police service. She was a wonderful worker and a joy to be around. Ruth had a beautiful smile and a very kind heart. I have many fond memories of the entire Orlando family that worked there.

My deepest sympathy to the family. John Orlando was a mentor to me as a young Robbery Detective back in 1975. I know that Ruth has joined him and that they are together again. I pray that the Lord will give you the strength and comfort through these hard times. I know she'll be missed greatly.
