Dear Greg,
Ruth will be remembered for us in Germany as our very close friend, almost a family member (mother and grandmother). For me, wen I was staying at high school student in San Diego in 1987, for Veronika and me, when we lived in San Diego between 1998 and 2001 and did many beautiful trips together, e.g. to Lake Tahoe or went bowling or out for dinner, and for our kids, wen we visited regularly thereafter. Ruth with her good soul, great humour, kindness, interest and understanding will never be forgotten!!
Our thoughts and best wishes are with you Greg!

Greg, I am so very sorry to hear about your mom´s passing. Your mom and dad were great neighbors to my family. I have fond memories of when you arrived and filled their dreams of becoming a family. I loved, feeding, giving you a bottle, and "babysitting" you (just when your mom was cleaning house or the like)! I was probably only in the 3rd or 4th grade! But I remember your first steps! I think your mom may have been instrumental in my older sisters being allowed to buy knee-high boots when they were in high school! And, I was so happy that she came to the baby shower for my son (see the attached picture). We always enjoyed getting pizza with your parents whenever we would come into town for a visit. Such fond memories of all of you. My deepest sympathies to you, Greg.

Oh Greg, how your mother loved you! Ruth was my dear friend for many years. First time we met was at Jazzercise. Do you remember? Sometimes she'd bring you along when you were young. She was good at teaching life lessons and very kind and gentle. She will always remain in my heart.

Dear Greg...I am saddened to learn of Ruth's passing. She was one of the first neighbors I met when Jack and I moved to Bay Ho in 1996.. We visited often with her and Al. Ruth and I joined the Clairemont Woman's Club together and especially enjoyed the gardening section. One year Ruth put on a Health Fair for the club at Clairemont Town Square. It was a great success. You were a wonderful son to her. One of the last times I visited her at her home, she showed me your baby pictures! Mother's delight! Everytime I see that crane you gave me, I think of Ruth.

Greg and Jason? You have been the most amazing caregivers. I talked to your mom often about your dedication to her. She loved you both so much. Please find some peace in your wonderful memories. We are here if you need us! B&J

It was such a gift to know Ruth. From the first moment I met her, she was so welcoming and I will always be grateful for her warmth and generous spirit. She was so easy to talk to and always had so many interesting stories to share. Thinking of you Greg and Jason and your entire family during this difficult time.

I loved my mom so much. I was proud to be her caregiver for over a decade. She always supported me, in every way. - Greg
