Ruth A. Perkins passed away Friday, June 24, 2016 at the age of 60. She was a resident of Crab Orchard, West Virginia. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Opal Bowyer of Maryland.
She is survived by her husband, Wesley Dale Perkins; son, Wesley Allen Perkins; daughter-in-law, Samantha Eden Perkins; granddaughters, Anndee Carol Perkins and Harper Avery Perkins; sister, Deborah Musumeci of Hagerstown, Maryland; and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Ruth will be fondly remembered as a wonderful mother, wife and a dear friend to so many.
Ruth was a graduate of Wheaton High School in Wheaton, Maryland and a retired secretary for the United States Government.
Friends may gather with the family Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 12-2pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 2pm at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
