RUTH ELIZABETH SCHUTZ POORMAN, dear mother of Carla Willard, Kharim Poorman, Sharrieff Poorman, Niffari Poorman, Kamil Cook and Rashida Poorman, wife of the late Roy Theophilus Poorman, beloved sister of Robert Schutz and the Anna Schutz and loving sister-in-law of Harold Manley, died on Feb. 27, 2005 at Fair Acres Geriatric Center, where she had many friends among staff and residents alike. She is survived by 7 grandchildren and many dear relatives. Memorial contributions may be sent in the name of the Ruth Elizabeth Schutz Poorman Memorial Fund to the Settlement Music School of Philadelphia, P.O. Box 63966, Philadelphia, PA 19147-3966. Services and interment will be private.
