Dear, dear, Ruth, finally in glory land. How the angels must be rejoicing at her homecoming. Dear Ruth delivered 4 of my 12 grandchildren. As I was blest to be present at these births also, I was always in awe of her quiet, supportive spirit. Nothing could go wrong when Ruth was there. Our Lord gave her so many gifts, and I was blessed to have known her. When she became ill, her quiet acceptance of it, was humbling to witness. May our Lord have a special place for you dear Ruth.

As an RN working with the midwives of Hennepin County Medical Center, I had the privilege of working beside Ruth. She was a patient and loving teacher. She taught me to be calm and peaceful during the birth process. She had angel hands and skills to match any physician. I am grateful that Ruth is my "forever friend."
