Ryan Dube Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 27, 2012.
DUBE, Ryan –

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ryan on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at the age of 18 years. Much loved son of John Paul Dube and Tara Ross (Nancy Monych). Devoted and loved brother of Walter Gough Jr. (Jennifer), Brandon Gough (Shania) and Patrick Gough (Amanda). Dear uncle of Joseph and Zoe. Cherished grandson of Jeannee and Walter Gough Sr. and the late John and Ruth Dube. Nephew of Julie Gough (Kevin Myre), Tammy Bench, Robbin Gough, Marrie Gough and the late Janine Dube. Ryan will be sadly missed by numerous cousins and friends. He will be fondly remembered for his loyalty and big heart. Ryan went above and beyond to help anyone in need even to his own detriment. He was an amazing friend and his family loved him dearly. He enjoyed boxing, martial arts, drawing, writing poetry, listening to music. The world has lost a great soul.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, August 2, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church St. St. Catharines (905-684-6346). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel with cremation to follow. Because of Ryan's continued desire to help make life better for children please consider a donation to the Niagara Peninsula Children's Centre in Ryan's honour. Please help us keep Ryan's memory alive by always greeting people with a warm and joyous smile. On-line tributes may be made at www.hulseandenglish.com

Our family is truly sorry to hear of Ryan's passing. We wish you peace and comfort in the days ahead that you face without him. Had he had the chance to follow his dreams, he would have helped so many others. He's your Guardian Angle now, along with his grandpa whom he loved and missed so much.

Ryan was a beautiful boy who dreamed of a future supporting and advocating for troubled youth. He would have made an outstanding role model. His smile was wide and heart huge. In the short time I knew Ryan, I could tell he was different and truly wanted to live a different life. I am forever blessed for having shared our short time together, His loss will leave a scar on my heart. My deepest condolences to all his family and friends,
