Ryan Marsh Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 24, 2025.

Ryan Christopher Marsh, 56, passed away on February 11, 2025, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on May 3, 1968, in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, Ryan lived life to the fullest, embracing every adventure and always lending a helping hand.

A true jack of all trades, Ryan was referred to as "MacGyver" because he had an innate ability to fix just about anything-whether it was a household repair, a car, a camper, a boat, or a computer. But more than that, he was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need, offering not just his skills, but also his warm smile and generous spirit. His boundless curiosity and talent made him the go-to person for family, friends, and even strangers who were fortunate enough to cross his path.

Known for his love of his truck and the unmistakable sound of a train horn, you always knew when he was nearby-his presence announced with a loud, familiar blast that made everyone smile. His adventurous spirit led him to the great outdoors, where he found joy in camping under the stars, boating on open waters, and hiking new trails. But perhaps his greatest joy was making new friends, because to Ryan, no one was a stranger for long.

Above all else, Ryan was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his wife, Kris Marsh; his sons Zachary Marsh (Riley Marsh), Corey Marsh, and Sawyer Marsh; his sister Deanna Owens; and his parents Dale Marsh and Pamela McGeehan. His love and laughter will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A memorial gathering will be held on March 14, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Mt. Carmel Brewery, located at 4362 Mt Carmel Tobasco Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45244.

The family asks that you honor his generous spirit by lending a helping hand to someone in need-just as he so often did.

Though his adventures on this earth have come to an end, his memory will live on in the roar of a truck's engine, the echo of a train horn in the distance, and the hearts of those who loved him.

We didn't have many interactions but they always included laughter. One occasion, while at a baseball game, Ryan was attempting to read the team roster. With difficulty.lol.He mention he was struggling to read the small print and I commented " Ryan, you first need to learn to read". I still remember how he laughed, .. even at himself

Ryan was one of a kind and had one of the greatest spirits that most have ever known. He lived, laughed and loved the way everyone should in this life. He will be missed so much by so many. Kris my dearest sympathies go to you and the boys. Just know my family is always here for you in whatever you need.
