Ryan Pineda Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 3, 2016.
Ryan Marshall Pineda was born on July 1, 1997 in
Tulare, California to Adrian and Amy Pineda of
Hanford, California, where he was a lifelong resident.
Ryan passed away while in the Sequoia National
Park, on July 29, 2016 at the age of 19.

Ryan had many friends, but he had a special
and loving relationship with his Maternal
Grandmother Judy Sundberg of Hanford.
They spoke daily and spent many hours together
having meals, attending movies or just enjoying
each others' company. Though tall and imposing,
Ryan had a loving, kind, nurturing personality and
a quick smile. All of the neighbors and their pets
on his street knew him as a friend.

Ryan was an avid lover of sports and during his
young life had enjoyed bowling, baseball and
attended many competitive events with the Kings
County Special Olympics. He also participated in
Water Polo, Top-soccer and Hanford Recreational
Basketball. He proudly supported the Sierra High
School football team as an equipment assistant.
He graduated with the class of 2015.

Ryan was a dedicated San Francisco Giants and
Forty-Niners fan. One of his greatest joys was attending
Angels baseball games in Anaheim with his
Grandparents Dennis and Susanne Sundberg of
Huntington Beach, Fresno Monster Hockey and
Grizzlies baseball games with his parents and brother
Joshua. Ryan was blessed to have traveled extensively
in California and to other states with his family. He enjoyed
amusements parks, but animals were one of Ryan's
greatest passions. Besides multiple trips to the Fresno
Chaffee Zoo, he had visited many other zoos in several other states.

Ryan attended Hanford Adult School and learned
vocational welding. He was scheduled to return
in the fall to learn more skills and earn certifications.

There will be a Visitation Tuesday, August 9, 2016

My sincerest condolences to Ryan's family. Ryan was a great kid at our summer camp and later a very team oriented basketball player regardless who his teammates were. My favourite memory of him will always be the summer he did his Michael Jackson routine at our annual talent show. He was so happy that all of the campers thought he did an awesome job. He will be sorely missed.

We mourn the loss of our nephew, Ryan but we cherish the moments and time he spent with us. What a beautiful person we were able to spend time with on this earth. We had the pleasure of watching him grow and grow and grow. Our little "MacGyver" turned into a man before our eyes. Giving him a hug was special as he gave the best big lovable hugs you could ever ask for. Our hearts are heavy for Adrian, Amy and Josh and we share in your grief. Please understand you gave Ryan a wonderful life and the love he deserved as great parents. We love you.

Ryan's sweet Spirit will be missed. My favorite memory with him is when we searched for a Praying Mantis in front of the school grounds before class. He loved nature. I loved watching him, so amazed by something everyone else takes for granted. Pray for his family. I love you Ryan.

I was so sorry to hear Ryan had passed. I was Ryan,s English teacher for 3 years. I enjoyed him so much. He was always ready to work hard and ready to help his fellow students. I don't think he ever knew a stranger. He was friendly to everyone he met. I feel privledged to have been his teacher. Ryan was a testament to how much he was loved and cared for. My love and prayers go out to his family. I will deeply miss him.

My Ryan Bear! You were such a joy to me in high school. Our talks of sports during breaks always made for some good times! Your joy and excitement always brought a smile to my face and laughter to my soul. We may of been on opposite teams during football, but come baseball season we were Giants all the way! I love you Ryan and I will miss you dearly.
