S. Burkhart Obituary
Born on November 11, 1922 in Mt. Carmel, PA. She was the daughter of the late Rufus and Sadie (Lubold) Harner.
Arlene was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church, Eastern Star-East Penn #336 (Kutztown) and the Northmont Club in Reading, PA. She also participated in candy making at Kutztown Masonic Temple. She was also an Elvis Fan and played bingo at the Friendship Center.
She is survived by her 3 daughters, Bonita L. Burkhart-Tanner of Salome, AZ, Deborah L. Burkhart-McClenahen-Schaffroth of Harrisburg, PA and Cynthia Burkhart-Little of Whispering Pines, NC; 3 grandchildren, Christopher Freet, Ryan Little and Alex Little and 2 great grandchildren, Zachary Freet and Logan Freet.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeremy Freet.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 11 a.m., at Zimmerman-Auer Funeral Home, Inc., 4100 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109. Viewing from 10 - 11 a.m at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery in Sinking Springs, PA.
