My deepest condolences go out to Sally's loved ones. I was blessed to know her for ~30+ years and she was truly a lovely person. She was one of my mom's closest friends and l will always think very fondly of the two of them sharing communion together as sisters, along with so many others. The world is a better place that she was here. May she rest in peace.

I am heartbroken to hear of Sally´s passing. My heart felt condolences to Tom and her children. I cherish the memories of our trip to Bumbershoot and many other concerts, dancing and singing. She was a loyal friend and a very strong woman who I admired and loved. Dance on, dear Sister. Tell Shannon, Carol, Chris,David, and Hutch hello for me.

The talks we had about ex´s, current and former husbands and partners. We laughed out loud and cried out loud. No topic was ever off the table. I will forever hold a special place in my heart for Sally Ann Met-craft. Missing her so much already

Sally was like another mother to me when I was younger. After leaving Oregon we all lost touch for a while, but the love was still there.

In loving memory of a wonderful sister. You will be in my heart always and forever. We had such a great time when we met up in Vegas where she danced to the song of ride Sally ride.

When I was in high school I wanted to be an artist but I knew that I wasn´t good enough to make a living at it. My parents refused to help me get into college because "the only reason a girl goes to college is to find a husband!". But Sally convinced me that I would make a great nurse and even knew how I could afford to do it on my own. Today I am retired after a career of 48 years as a nurse!! Because Sally believed in me, she was my biggest cheerleader at the time!! Sally and I became especially close since her diagnosis 4 years ago. She fought long and hard and in the end she passed the way she wanted to, at home with Tom. Rest In Peace gentle soul....ever onward......

Sally was my eldest sister, I don´t have a lot of memories as a young child but as a young adult we shared a lot. She was the one that suggested and encouraged me to go to nursing school after our parents refused to help me to go to college. You see, they believed that the only reason a girl went to college was to find a man! Sally and I became particularly close over the last few years and I will mill her terribly. Ever onward.............
