Salvador and Ruben Lozano

Las Cruces - Salvador G. Lozano, age 86, father, and Ruben C. Lozano, age 67, son, passed away one day apart. Salvador passed March 7, 2021 and was born February 4, 1935 in Estacion Victor Rosales Calera, Zacatecas, Mexico. Ruben passed March 8, 2021 and was born November 10, 1953 in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. Salvador was a lifelong Preacher of the Spanish Church of Christ and Ruben was employed at El Canto Hotel until his retirement.

Those left to mourn their passing include wife and mother, Alejandra Lozano of the family home; son and brother, Sergio Lozano; daughter and sister, Ruth Patricia Gonzales (Lorenzo Apodaca) all of Las Cruces; brother, uncle, Francisco Lozano; sisters, aunts, Maruja, Tere, Charo, Esperanza and Poly. Other survivors include three grandsons, nephews, Salvador and Jacob Lozano, Joshua Gonzales; three granddaughters, nieces, Jackie and Jovanna Gonzales, Dezaraie R. Villalobos as well as ten great-grandchildren. Salvador was preceded in death by his parents and son, Chava; Ruben was preceded in death by his father, Salvador and brother Chava Lozano.

Visitation for Salvador and Ruben will begin at 8:30 AM Monday, March 22, 2021 at the Church of Christ, 2025 N. Valley Drive where the Funeral Service is scheduled for 10 AM with Brother Esteban Castro Officiating. At their request cremation will follow and Inurnment of cremains will take place at a later date.

Serving as casket bearers will be Salvador and Jacob Lozano, Joshua Gonzales, Michael Murphy, Martin Rodriguez and Israel Pong.
