Salvatore Anzalone was truly one man,I would say I had love and appreciation for.I am a lesbian, when I first met Salvatore his energetic vibe was infectious.Freindly disposition, and simply joyous nature. We both would discuss spirituality as one of my gifts is as an Empath.Psychic mediumship and spiritual contact.I met him as he worked at IHOP and we maintained a friendship. Now I do not maintain communication with men at all,but he was such a good and honest gentleman.I gave him gifts for Drew and we would discuss his growth.Salvatore was extremely proud of his accomplishments in body building.Everytime I hugged him,it was like grasping a boulder.I was deeply saddened by his departure from this mortal coil.My thoughts are with his family and precious boy.I know he touched the heart of everyone he met.I miss you Salvatore & I love you buddy, rest in strength my brother!!

It's been 6 months. Sam, I think about you all the time. As I am creating a new garden, at our new house, I can hear you "Hey Madre, where do you want this planted?" I miss our Garden on Miami. Those were some of our best times. I miss walking on all the patio blocks. We worked so hard on them! I miss my huge rock at the bottom of the driveway. I still can't beleive you moved that thing! Sam I miss you so much! I pray you are looking down at me, and are cherishing our memories, as I will do, every day...until we meet again! I love you my sweet son, Always, Mom

Every so often, we are privileged to meet someone whose impact is immediately felt. Someone who embodies the best of what humanity has to offer. Sal was a light. No, actually he was a supernova! He was so amazingly gifted, and possessed a love for people and a desire to help. His friendship was a gift. Sal, my dear friend, thank you. I will always appreciate, admire and respect you. You set the bar ( literally and figuratively ) pretty darn high. You set an example to which few aspire, let alone attain. I wish that we could have spent more time together. You are one of the best people I've ever had the honor of knowing. You will remain forever in my thoughts and in my heart. I love you, brother.

I graduated with Sal in 2006. I was not aware of what happened until I saw it online. Even though I never knew him well anyone could tell he was a great person. I am very sorry to his family for their loss and his son. His life was cut so short but the best piece of him will go on. Only the good die young. I remember reading those words, his words, a while ago and he was right.

We are truly sorry for the loss of Sal. We were his regulars at IHOP (my mom and I). It's a pleasure to have known him for only a short while.

Sal was such a wonderful person. He always had a smile and encouraging words for everyone. We enjoyed seeing him at Anytime gym because of his positive outlook. I will miss him yelling hello as he drove past me running. Such a great young man.
