Salvatore Bonica, 92, of Cliffside Park, passed away on Saturday February 10, 2018 at his home with his family at his side. He was born in Filicudi, Italy.
Sal was the owner of Sal's Hot Dog Truck, located at 79th St. and Bergenline Ave., for many years.
Beloved husband of Maria (nee: Cappadona) Bonica. Devoted father of Joseph Bonica, Silvester Bonica and Angela Bonica-Hauser and her husband Sidney. Loving grandfather of Michael, David, Brian, Sabrina and Kimberly. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral on Friday at 9:30 am from the Vainieri Funeral Home, 5923 Kennedy Blvd North Bergen, NJ. A funeral mass
will be offered at 11 am at St. Nicholas Church Palisades Park, NJ. Entombment Fairview Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Diabetes Association.
