It gets a little easier each day, but there's not a day that goes by that I don't think about my dad. Sometimes I find myself doing things that he would do. And it's all subconsciously. I'll even see remnants of my dad in my mom or sisters. It undoubtedly true that his absences have affected the past four or so years. But, nevertheless, our family has achieved many accomplishments and met some amazing people along the way. I can't thank God enough, though, my dad passing away prepared me for the next chapter of my life, and I have enough memories to last a lifetime.
