Peggy J. Armstrong Voss, 61, Riverside, MO, died Sunday, October 21, 2002, in Smithville, MO. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons White Chapel Funeral Home; burial in Barry Cemetery. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel. Mrs. Voss was born September 26, 1941, in Smithville, MO. She grew up in Camden Point and lived most of her life in the Kansas City North area. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Billie (McClain) Scherf, and sister, Carol Justus. She is survived by her husband, William Voss, of the home, son, Wayne Armstrong, Gladstone, MO, daughter, Debbie York, Holt, MO, stepson, Terry Armstrong, Gladstone, MO, four grandsons, Dewane Armstrong, Bobby Armstrong, and Kyle York, Kevin York, and great-grand-daughter, Hailey Armstrong. Betsey and I wish to express our condolences to you on the death of your wife and mother and grandmother.

I attended school with Peggy in Camden Point--North Platte Schools.

Our prayers are with you and your family at this time. May the peace of God sustain you through this time of sorrow.

Todd and I were stunned and saddened to learn the tragic news about Peggy. She was such a special person in my life growing up. I'm sorry to have lost contact with her for all these years. I know she will be greatly missed. Let me know if there is anything I can do. [email protected]
