Marie and family, I have been so fortunate to be counted as a friend and neighbor of Sam and Marie for 20 years. Thank you so much for all the fresh fruits and vegetables that you have saved for us and you even made a point to offer treats to my dogs, Deedie and Goldie! My son Jamie joins me in offering our thoughts and prayers. Fran and Jamie Syptak

Jeff and Family,
We are so sorry to hear of your father's passing. May you cherish the wonderful memories that you have. We know how difficult this time can be and especially during the holidays. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. May peace be with you.

I knew Sam at Viewmont Baptist as a steady, loving presence. He was also my "magic blueberry/blackberry man". Every summer for many years, Marie would call or I would check by their house to see if the berries were ready. I never saw all the work and love that went into producing those wonderful treats. They just appeared in recycled milk jugs, ready to be enjoyed. They really were like magic to me. Thank you Sam and Marie for so much beauty and love in a simple thing like berries. Sam will be missed by so many, especially his loving, sweet family. Me too. Judy Pruitt

We are praying for you. Sam was the best neighbor a person could ask for. He was a kind and generous friend. Amy and I will miss him. May God's peace and comfort be with you in this time of sorrow.

My deepest and most heartfelt love and prayers are offered to your family now. Though I only met Sam once, I knew him to be a kind gentleman, a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, especially through his daughter René. God bless and care for him!
