It is with immense sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of a beloved husband, our father, grandfather, uncle and friend Sadrudin (Sam) Manji. Sadru will be fondly remembered by his wife of 34 years Nurjehan (Nury), his sons Zahir and Hanif, his daughters-in-law Maria and Behnaz, his grandchildren Rashaad and Aleena. He is also survived by his brother Amir and a very large extended family and many friends. Sadru was known for his mustache and his passion for life. An avid camper, he loved his Tim's coffee and was a collector of all sorts of hobbies. His pride in his sons and family will stay with us always. We wish to thank the staff and surgeons at the Foothills Hospital and at the Agape Hospice for their outstanding care and concern not just for Sadru but for his family as well. We are at a loss today and cannot find the words to express our sorrow but take solace in knowing he is at rest and pain free. He leaves us with wonderful memories and teachings that will remain in our families for years to come. We wish to thank our family, colleagues, friends, and our community for embracing us in this difficult time with your unconditional love, support, prayers, and guidance. In lieu of flowers, tributes can be made to the Agape Manor Hospice. Funeral Services will be held at the Ismaili Jamatkhana at 1128 - 45 Avenue N.E. on Friday, January 4 at 12 noon.
