Sam Stokes 9/25/50-05/16/24 passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and caregivers whom she considered family.

Sam was known and loved for her vibrant personality, her larger than life smile and laugh along with her fun hair colors and amazing cake decorating talents.

Sam knew no strangers, If you were loved by her you were LOVED BIG! She was one of a kind.

She will be missed deeply!

Sam is survived by her children, Kimberly Morales(Daniel Stowell), Nikki Hatfield(Mike) and Cliff Stokes ( Sara Cyrus) along with her 13 grandkids, 7 great grandkids, her siblings Kay Johns and Andy Perry, many nieces and nephews as well as her dear friends Steve and Vicki Bradley.

We would also like to thank the staff at Hillcrest Firethorn for taking care of Sam during her many years there! It never went unnoticed!

Those who knew her, knew what her name stood for

We will have a celebration of life in the future.

This was a woman who was very direct and like her daughter very beautiful and admirable. She was a wonderful person who overcame all the tragedy that surrounded her. My heart goes out especially to her daughter Nikki who loved and cared for her no matter what.
