Sorry for your loss.

We first knew Sammie when we came to St. Luke's, then better in the choir there and in Altar Guild, and finally in the Bach Choir. She was always ready to help those who needed someone and never wanted any credit for the wonderful help she gave. Sammie was a warm friend, a hard worker, a great cook, a beautiful musician, and a devoted Christian. We remember so many happy hours with her and Jim. You are in our thoughts and prayers, Sammie, until we all meet again. Elizabeth and Ian Bremner, Houston, Tx

Faithful. Diligent. Rock steady. Artistic. Teacher. Singer. Excellent cook for few or hundreds. Capable. Encourager. Supporter. Sammie was the person you could count on to "be there", to do the hard work no one else volunteered for, to do an excellent job--and always to do it without calling attention to herself. Sammie had a strong core of faith in God and Jesus Christ. She lived her faith! Sam gave and gave. It was a privilege to know her. See you in paradise, Sammie. "In paradisum deducant te angeli...."
