Samuel A. Smith "Sandy"

January 28, 1948 ~ September 12, 2023

Samuel Alexander Smith ("Sandy") was born on January 28, 1948 in Richmond Virginia.

Known to his friends as "Sandy" he moved to Hamilton Heights in Manhattan New York at an early age. Sandy attended Resurrection Catholic School in Harlem New York, George Washington and Theodore Roosevelt High Schools. He was in Dance club (loved posing) and enjoyed music (put on hip hop, house and R & B and see what happens). He was a true social butterfly. Sandy also attended Parsons School of Design. His art was his personality. He concentrated on fashion design. His hand designed cards were appreciated by many.

His favorite expression was "sorta..kinda" which sums up just about everything.

Sandy and best friends- Kathy Johnson (sister from another mister), Betty and Lavonia and Penny have been together through thick and thin and will always have a timeless bond.

He will be missed by many friends and family in New York, Ohio and Maryland.
