Samuel's beloved grandaughter, Lisa sent me this link. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed meeting Samuel Spector through your eyes. What a beautiful story and life. His life touched even me, and I didn't know him.

Heartfelt condolences to those whose lives have changed with the loss of this fine man.

In rememberance:

The tide recedes but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand.

The sun goes down, but gentle warmth

still lingers on the land

The music stops, and yet it echoes on

in sweet refrains...

For every joy that passes

something beautiful remains.

May your memories bring you comfort and keep your loved one close in heart.

I was sorry to learn of Sam's passing. I'll always remember the fun times we had at the animal park and how I used to tease him about how many keys he would wear on his belt.

What wonderful memories we all have to cherish. Reading Uncle Sam's story also brought back so many of them - and made me smile and cry at the same time. Im so sorry for your loss - I love you all & miss you - but the closeness is always there and always will be. And Uncle Sam will never ever be forgotten.

So sorry for your loss. Reading the obituary reminded me of so many fond memories that I had of spending summers in Maine with the family as a young child. Sam was quite a character and he always made it so much fun to visit him at the park. Rich and Elaine Sher

Not a day will go by without my thinking of my Uncle Sam and missing him with all my heart. What wonderful memories we have of him. Arthur feels the same way.
