Sandor Biro Obituary
Sandor Biro, 85, of Wallingford, loving husband to Irene Biro, died January 21, 2016 at Masonicare Health Center.
He was born in Nagyeged, Hungary on March 24, 1930, a son of the late Sandor and Lanke Biro.
He immigrated to the United States in the 1950's and worked as a machinist for Pratt & Whitney for over 25 years until retiring. He loved Gardening and was a member of the Hungarian Community Club in Wallingford.
Surviving besides his wife are three children, Alex Biro and his wife Tina of Meriden, Elizabeth Wilkinson and her husband Keith of Wallingford, and Julius Biro and his wife Tammy of Wallingford; four grandchildren, Taylor, Christopher, Logan, and Aliah; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Rose and Ida; and his brother, Julius Biro.
His family will receive relatives and friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street, Ext., Wallingford with a service to follow in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at In Memoriam Cemetery, Wallingford. www.wallingfordfh.com

Dear Irene & Family, My sincere condolences to you at this time of loss! Alex always treated me with friendship and respect even when I helped to beat him at "Set Back" at the Hungarian Club! Indeed, he was a "fiery" competitor; I enjoyed this time. My prayers are with you! Also, the Hungarian 'nation' gas lost a good man!
