Sandor Bredl Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 23, 2023.
Sandor "Alex" Bredl, 82, of Brighton, Colorado, passed away on August 16, 2023. He was born on August 18, 1940, in Kecskemet, Hungary. Alex was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Alex had a long and fulfilling career, working for Burlington Northern Rail Road for 42 years as a crane operator and Carmen. He loved sharing his stories about working on the railroad, and his passion for his work was evident to all who listened.

After retiring, Alex couldn't stay away from work for long and joined Avis Car Rental as a delivery driver. He spent 15 years with the company, receiving numerous accolades for his dedication and outstanding service. Avis became a second home for Alex, and he cherished the opportunity to continue working and being part of a team.

In his free time, Alex enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends. He was an avid board game player and had a knack for poker. Fishing was another favorite pastime of his, where he found solace and tranquility in nature. Alex also enjoyed playing video poker and found it to be a source of entertainment and relaxation.

Alex is survived by his loving spouse, Helen J Bredl of Brighton, Colorado; his children, Steven K Bredl of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Sarena K Anderson of Thornton, Colorado, Brenda S Sund of Westminster, Colorado, and Stanley E Daves of Colorado; his grandchildren, Johnathan D Carruth, Christina Barnes (Carruth), Michael A Carruth, and Lauren B Romero (Riddle); and his great-grandchildren, Lily King, Mia Carruth, Layne Carruth, Camille Barnes, and Caden Barnes.

Alex Bredl will be remembered as a dedicated family man, a hardworking individual, and someone who always brought joy and laughter to those around him. His love for his family was unparalleled, and his presence will be greatly missed. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
