Sandra Lynn Farnel

FARNEL Sandra Lynn Farnel, aged 52 years of Watrous, SK., passed away October 1st, 2010. Sandra was born May 23rd, 1958 in Regina to Barbara and Albert Mainil of Willowbunch, SK. Sandra went to school in Willowbunch and graduated in 1978. She was very active in Basketball, Volleyball and other sports. Sandra met Keith Farnel in the spring of 1977 and married on August 5th, 1978. They started an RV business in 1982 and moved to Watrous in 1993 where they ran their family business. She thought the world of our employees. Sandra worked in nursing homes, starting in Assiniboia then Moose Jaw and later in Watrous. She will be remembered for her outgoing and friendly working ability. Sandra loved her annual trips to Yuma and also enjoyed all the trips she had with Keith to several different countries. Sandra was predeceased by her father Albert Mainil, father-in-law Newton Farnel, sister-inlaw Judy Kane and brother-in-law Leslie Farnel. Sandra is survived by her loving husband, Keith Farnel; mother Barbara Mainil; sisters Georgina (David) Brenner and Gloria (Conrad) Schauenberg; brothers Neil (Diane) Mainil, David (Sharon) Mainil and Roland (Kim) Mainil; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; mother-in-law Florence Farnel; brothers and sisters-in-law Doug (Brenda) Farnel, Ronald (Lorrie) Farnel, Wayne Farnel, Diane Farnel, Marilyn (Denis) Waldner and Gail (Yvan) Veillette. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 5th, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Father Rick Krofchek will officiate.
