Sandra Lee "Sandy" Hanna (Bush), aged 64, passed away on May 16, 2024, in Kingsley, MI. Born on March 17, 1960, in Traverse City, MI, she brought joy and kindness to all who knew her. Sandy was a vibrant and active individual, well-known throughout the Grand Traverse area and beyond, particularly through her extensive career in the restaurant industry. Her warm smile and kind words made her a beloved figure among customers, employers, and coworkers alike.

Sandy's love for life was evident in her passion for outdoor activities, including running, biking, and kayaking. Above all, she cherished her family deeply, always ready to support them in any possible way. Sandy is survived by her loving husband, Chuck Hanna; sons Jeremy and Joshua Rogers; mother, Marilyn Schrock; sisters Norma Kibby, Amy Forton, and Lorena Luper; stepchildren Dylan Hanna, Jess Hanna, Rachael Proffer, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Jesse Rogers.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on June 28th from 11 am to 4 pm at Harbor Brook Hall, US 31, Traverse City, MI 49686. The gathering will reflect Sandy's spirit and the profound impact she had on her community and loved ones.
