We met only once. Decades ago on a mutual friend's cruise to innauguarate a new Carnival Ship out of NYC. Kathy Lee Gifford was the friend. Sandy and Bob stood out in the crowd as this tall regal couple, who we didn't dare to approach! Then, as we sat in a booth for dinner, they walked up and asked if they could sit with us - undistuinguished nobodies as far as they should know. The ice was broken when Bob looked down at my Mickey Mouse watched and kind of furrowed his brow - I thought oh, no our low brow roots have been discovered! Bob slowly pulled back his sleeve and disclosed his identical watch! We have been Chritsmas Card buddies ever since. They had no idea I was in the Rockabilly Hall of Fame, Grammy and CMA voting member etc. Sandy had no idea that Brenda had done some candy creations for Kathy, and became widely know on TV and print as the Candy Queen. We are deeply touched by her passing and thank Bob for informing us. They didn't just exude a classy couple. inside where it counts, they were a classy couple.

Sansan, all my memories of YOU are happy ones. I loved sharing Line Dance class. We laughed all the time. You retaught me, Jane, Pris and Jo Maj Jong. We cruised together and sang at the piano bar thinking our voices were the BEST. We laughed at the beach in Md and you retaught me my Childhood game of Pitch with Rob on the phone. You lasted one night on the COOKIE diet at the beach and then. we had fries and soft ice cream. On the boardwalk we all bought those glitzy purses because you said they were popular in New York. Hand painted glasses with our names on them were gifts you brought to the beach. I loved that you and Ron came to Lisa´s wedding. I could write pages. New Years, phone calls, entertaining our friends from Md with a magic routine you and. Rob performed, and then including Janie and me for AJ´s graduation. Being your friend was so Special and I will treasure those memories. Even my grandson Colin remembers those Mc Donald´s toys you game them. Please rest in PEACE and know how special and dear you were to me, to Ron and to my family. I am so grateful that You were in my life. I treasure our time together. Joyce Bortnick

Sansan was a wonderful person who will be missed by so many. Beth and I could chat over the phone about her for hours. Her fun-loving colourful personality gave us lots to talk about. I always enjoyed hearing her stories and how she was doing. Sansan and Bob were an inspiration of love to us all. Rest in eternal peace Sansan.

We are so very sorry to learn of Sandy´s passing. As a Pine School family and fellow BC alum of Beth´s, we had the opportunity to meet Sandy at many events over the years. The closeness Sandy shared with her family was clearly evident, and we could see how proud she was of you all. What a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother she was. Wishing you peace and strength for the days ahead.
With our deepest condolences, the Spellman Family
