Sandra Hoyt Obituary
She graduated from Machias Memorial High School and the University of Maine at Machias. She was employed for many years as clerk and book keeper at Machias Hardware.
She is survived by her parents, Paul and Velma (Hulbert) Hoyt of Machias; a brother, Michael Hoyt of East Machias; aunts, Marie Gleske and husband, Hal, of Machias, Maxine Clark and husband, Alan, of Ellsworth and Lorraine Pottle of New Portland; many cousins; her special friends, Linda Stoddard and Gully Dunlap; and many other friends.

Ryse and I will miss her visits in the neighborhood. He really bonded with her. I thank her for the memories she gave him that he will never forget. Sandra was indeed one of the nicest people I've ever met. So glad she to have had the opportunity to know her!

Words cannot express how shocked and deeply saddened we are at Sandra's very unexpected death last week. How we will miss her sharp sense of humor, spirited conversations and ready smile . We have kept you in our thoughts all week and know that your faith will get you through this difficult time. You are so fortunate to be surrounded by the supportive community that is Machias.
We hope that you find comfort in knowing that in her time spent on earth Sandra left such happy memories to recall in the difficult days ahead.
