Phyllis Lawford Memoriam
The words I feel most deeply, are the hardest ones to say
If God could grant me just one wish, a Dream that would occur
I'd pray with all my heart, for just one more day with her.
"A wife, a mother and a grandmother too
And God took Dad in 2015 to be with you
I pray Heaven is everything it is meant to be
As you both have your endless supply of coffee."
Mom cherished every moment, with the man who was her life
For better or worse walking hand in hand.....as a Man and his Wife
Mom never looked for praises, and was never one to boast
Mom just went on calmly living, for the ones she loved the most.
Mom's dreams were never spoken, her wants so very few
'Twas all the times her worries.....went unspoken too
She's gone to live with Jesus, but she's here with me today
Smiling down on all of us, and telling us that she's O.K.
A true friend we could turn to, when life had left us so numb
She was our greatest blessing, the One we had called our Mom
She loved her children dearly, each one in a different way
Nestled close within her heart.....though, now she's gone away
We pray you both are safe and now free of pain
We'll miss and love you always.....so until we meet again.
