Sandra Ileen (Alford) Morgan, 58, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023 in Granbury.

Visitation: 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2023 in White’s Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.

Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Friday, March 24, 2023 in White’s Chapel of Memories.

Interment: Annetta Cemetery, Annetta.

Sandra was born October 18, 1964 in Weatherford, daughter of James Edmond Alford and Dorothy Alford Henderson.  She grew up in Weatherford and was a graduate of Weatherford High School.

Sandra met the love of her life, Jerry Morgan, and they were married on October 19, 1985 and they would go on to spend nearly 38 happy years together.

She worked for over 35 years for the FAA, retiring in December of 2022.

Sandra was an avid reader, who loved to travel. Over the years, she spent her time golfing and doing water-sports. She loved spending time at the ranch in Cross Plains, and she loved her dog, Divot. While she had many interests in life, her family was her first love, especially hosting holiday gatherings. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, David Alford.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Morgan; sons, Jerrod Morgan (Sheena), and Trevor Morgan; grandchildren, Kameron and Katie; sister, Linda McDaniel (David); brother-in-law, Earl Morgan (Karen); sister-in-law, Darlene Benson (Mark); and a host of other extended family members and friends.

Sandra was a loving wife, and mother, and she touched countless lives. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Sandie was a sweet lady. Never without a beautiful smile and a hug for an old friend when we would see each other. I was shocked when I heard. Jerry I am so sorry. My heart breaks for you and your beautiful family.

Sandy was a bright smile always willing to take time for everyone. The FAA provided me an opportunity to know her. We pray for her and the family.

Jerry, so sorry to hear about Sandra. Things seemed to be going so well. What a shock. Linda and I hoped to spend more time with you guys in Cross Plains after everyone retired. I know you had a lot of plans for Sandra around the ranch. Stay strong and we're sending you all our prayers. We hope to see you and Earl around your home on the range. I’m so saddened to hear about Sandy’s passing. She was so courageous and strong and had such a beautiful spirit that just lit up the room with her smile. Sandy will be a favorite Angel in Heaven. May she rest in peace.
