"Dedicated Wife, Mother and Grandmother"
Sandra "Sandy" Anne (Constantino) Roy, age 68, of Waterbury passed away peacefully on November 14, 2013 at the Wolcott View Manor. She was the beloved wife of Richard R. Roy for 32 years.
Sandy was born in Waterbury on September 16, 1945 daughter of the late Dominic and Anne (Dubosky) Constantino and was a graduate of Crosby High School, Class of 1964. She was a Home Health Aide for the Waterbury Visiting Nurses Association for 27 years before her retirement. Sandy was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother whose devotion was to her family.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving daughters, Aileen Santovasi and her husband, Steven of Goshen, Ann Marie Cretella of Waterbury, her cherished grandchildren, Jasmine Ganesh, Steven Santovasi, Jr. and Nicholas Santovasi, her brother, Arthur Constantino and his wife, Debbie of Florida and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements: Funeral Monday at 9:00 a.m. from the Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT to the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception for a Mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Calling Hours will be on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Waterbury Visiting Nurses Association, 50 Brookside Rd., Waterbury, CT 06708.

Dear Dick, Aileen, and Annmarie, I can't believe your wonderful Mom and my lovely friend has passed on to heaven. She was the greatest person; ever loving, kind, caring, fun and generous. I enjoyed her so very much. She was the best friend anyone could have and loved you all so very much. I will cherish the memories I have of our fun times together, the wonderful wedding on the yacht, the cheerleading, the trip to Disney and just the holidays and times we all spent together.
