Sandra Cunningham Stilley

Sandra Cunningham (Sandy) Stilley passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025, in Houston, Texas, surrounded by her immediate family.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Randall D. Stilley of Tyler, Texas. Her two sons, Michael Stilley of Pearland, Texas and Daniel Stilley of Sparks, Maryland. Her mother-in-law, Sue Stilley of Wichita Falls, Texas. Along with her daughter in law Courtney Stilley and Grandson Weston Stilley of Pearland, Texas.

Sandy was born on October 11,1953 to Betty Smith Cunningham and Robert Ard Cunningham in Fort Worth, Texas. She graduated from Corsicana High School in 1976, and attended The University of Texas at Austin, where she met her husband. They were married on June 26, 1976. After 22 years living in multiple U.S. and International cities, Sandy & Randy moved back to Houston, Texas where they would spend the next 25 years. In 2023, they moved to Tyler, Texas.

Sandy had many friends and brightened the lives of everyone she encountered. Her genuine personality, her selflessness and generosity, created friends in all walks of life. She took the lead in raising two wonderful young men and made sure they enjoyed every possible experience from living all over the world.

She was a talented and creative interior designer, a collector of antiques and art, an avid snow skier, and a fabulous traveling companion. Her style and grace, her engaging smile, and her zest for life was unmistakable.

She will be missed by all who knew her.

In accordance with her wishes, a celebration of her life will occur on September 20 in Houston.
