Sending all my love and gratitude to the best "Father-in-Law" who held steadfast in his beliefs, passion, and dedication to his family! His wisdom was profound, his love of country was amazing, a humble servant who worked almost every day of his life! He always said--"Show me what you can do in your community, then build an Army!" What is important to know is that Sandy Keith was a "Honorable Man" adored by me-- who encouraged me to be humble, proud, and to work hard! Sandy--I love you! I wish you were here now! I'm sorry to hear of your passing--a bit late! Sad but true! Sandy Keith never wanted to be late and kept a tight schedule. I recall and pose tribute to remember "Sandy Time" which meant to always be on time--at least 10 minutes early. "I wish there was an alarm clock to awaken you with a sound gentle as a rose petal"--Quote from Eve Merriam. He loved dresses because he was old fashioned which I adored about this family man. He was an early riser, walked every day, and taught me so much. He influenced my life, gone too soon but we vowed to never talk about politics at the dinner table! He loved politics because he thought he could make a difference in this World. Well--He did it! There is a great book called--"Her Honor":Rosalie Wahl and the Minnesota Women's Movement! It's filled with memorable quotes of his work and passion for his life as a Judge. He was a beloved husband--who loved to write letters. It's a teachable moment that offers a valuable history lesson to all Future Leaders of America--especially Women! A special note to Marion, his wife who always said to me "I wish I could take your pain away!" I'm speechless at this moment for the words to express my sympathy and pain for the loss of your dearly departed husband. Thank you to my ex-husband, Dr. Douglas Scott Keith, for the many years we were together! Thank you Ian Keith for being a "Teacher" to our future generations, and to your wife Gail-a "Pioneer to the Women's Movement" and and their son Sean. To all my step-children whom I hold dear, Ingrid, Ingemar, and Andreas that you should know I will always love and support you! You are missed by me very much! Thank you for continuing, contributing to the education, love and support to your other grandchild--Miss Isabella Butu, my daughter! "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will enter his house and dine with him, and he with me." --Revelation 3:20. Fr. Jacob Matthew Jaks--Ordained a Priest of Jesus Christ." --Cathedral of the Sacred Heart! Doug , his son "Works as a Hero" helping others who are need of Healthcare!" May God Bless this family in their time of need. --All my love, Desta Jean Keith
