Sara "Jackie" Burgess

Palmyra - Sara "Jackie" Jacquelyn (Prickett) Burgess, 54, of Palmyra, passed away at home with her loving family by her side on Thursday, April 22, 2021. She was born Sunday, April 16, 1967 in Morristown, NJ to Percy L. and Patricia (Skellie) Prickett of Elkton, VA.

She graduated from Morristown High School in 1985, earned her bachelors degree from the College of Saint Elizabeth and her masters from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Her professional career was spent in procurement for Nabisco, Kraft and the Hershey Company. She enjoyed traveling with her friends to destinations both near and far. She was a devoted mother and loved her children selflessly.

She is survived by three loving children, Nicole J., Jacob T. and Tyler J. Burgess of Palmyra; a brother, Thomas P. Prickett of Elkton, VA; ex-husband, Rodney Burgess of Palmyra. She was predeceased by a brother, Stephen S. Prickett.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110 or PA Breast Cancer Coalition, 2397 Quentin Road, Suite B, Lebanon, PA 17042.
