To my dearest friends Pat and Donna, I so remember many days in the kitchen with MOM ! Some days were fun and some days all we heard was preaching, and I think we
needed that. But we still loved Mom no matter what ! My prayers are with her and I will miss seeing her. Much love to my dearest friends take care.

Dear Mom,
This paper card was found in the bottom of your drawer. I wrote this many years ago to you for Mother's Day. It's still true and I want to share it.
Dear Mom,
There are all kinds of mothers but I have the best. I was never afraid to ask you anything when I was growing up. You always answered as best you could without making me feel as if I had done something wrong for asking such a question.
As I matured we helped each other to grow. Thanks to you I am the kind of person I am. I hope you are as proud of me as I am of you.
May God bless you and keep you well.
I love you very much!!

To my Grannymother,
What a precious beauty! You have tickled so many people with your love, laughter, smiles and humor. You always knew how to bring the sunshine when there was rain....and there is plenty of that here in Pittsburgh as you may know! From the time I was a little girl, I was always so proud of my Grannymother. Everyone knew about her! We'll miss you with all of our hearts, but we've surely been blessed with all the precious memories you've made with us!
See you later Alligator!!!
Love your HEATHER LEATHER
Almost forgot....when I see you again, I'll bring the CHOCOLATE!

Grannymother,
No words will ever be able to say how much we all loved you. You and Pop-pop started an amazing legacy, and I will always be so proud to be a "Burk". I am going to miss your voice and your laugh. I will remember your stories and your advice. Especially the advice you gave me on being a mom. I know you are in a better place and I will see you again. I love you so much.
