FARRAHER SARA E.
Peacefully on Wednesday November 12, 2008 Sara, age 95. Daughter of the late Dennis and Mary Farraher of Pittsburgh. Sara was a lifelong resident of Lawrenceville. She is survived by her sister Ann McEntee, niece Mariann (Bob) Farrell, nephew Philip (Vanessa) McEntee, great-aunt of Cullen and Erin Farrell. Also three great grandnieces and nephews, Gillian, Liam and Tristan Farrell. Sara was predeceased by her sisters, Helen Engelhardt, Marie and brother William Farraher. She was so proud of her Irish heritage and visited Ireland three times and met many of her relatives. Sara worked as the payroll clerk for over 30 years at the Blaw-Knox equipment division before retiring. Always one with her quick wit, friendliness and deep love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers family suggests donations be made to St. Matthew Parish, 5322 Carnegie St., Pgh., PA 15201. Friends received at the JOHN F. MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, INC., Butler at 52nd, Lawrenceville. Mass of Christian burial, St. Matthew Parish in St. Kieran Church Friday 11 am. Visitations Thurs. 2-4 and 6-8 pm.

To the Farraher Family,

Our deepest regrets on your loss. Sara was one of my Grandma's dearest friends and she will always be in my oldest most cherished memories. She had a great sense of humor and made us laugh every time we would see her. My family will hold our memories of Sara forever.
