7 years ? I ,along with all Sara's family and friends, still (and will always) miss her. One of my favorite memories is when 7 of us -all fans of Nora-rented a cabin in the Smokies above Gatlinburg . All we did was eat and read.

I just got back from out of town and heard about Sara. Gretchen and Alan, Ron and Judy -- you are in my thoughts and prayers. Sara was one of the sweetest people I've ever known. We spent lots of Happenings and high school retreats together and I would always run into her at the occasional Columbus-area sporting event. She will be missed dearly.

Dear Gardner family,
We just found out about Sara's passing. Robb and I both worked with her at Andersons. We're so sorry to hear the news. Please know that you're all in our thoughts and prayers. She was a sweet and fun person to work with!

Sara,
You were a beautiful person inside and out. The world is a much sadder place without your smile to brighten the days.

I was stunned when I heard the news from my parents. I remember Sara from St. John's youth group, summer camp, and Happening, yet I feel like I hardly knew her. But I remember her smile, and the way that her face glowed whenever she was working or playing with young children. My thoughts and prayers go out to Gretchen and Alan, and to the rest of the family.

We were stunned to learn of Sara's passing. There are so many memories of the kids growing up together, especially in their middle years. Our prayers are with you all, and a donation will be sent to St. James in her memory.

I only knew Sara virtually, as we met over a mutual interest - reading books by Nora roberts. I will miss her interesting messages and send my most sincere condoleances to her family.

I worked with Sara at Wilson Hill Elementary School. She was a wonderful person and had a great rapport with our special education students. Sara was always willing to help and go that extra mile for the children. I can still hear her laughing with our students. She will be greatly missed.
With great sympathy to her family and all who knew her,

Sara was my friend and I feel so blessed to have known her. I know that God welcomed her home and although we will miss her terribly, I know she's in heaven watching over us all.
I love you, Sara. Thank you for being my friend.

Sara, you will be so missed by my grandchildren Jessica and Anthony. You were a very large part if them growing up. Anthony will always have wonderful memories going to see the Columbus Crew games with you. My heart is broken for them as well as for your family. Pat Lewis

I had the pleasure of working with Sara at The Anderson's for 3 years as a cashier supervisor. I was always impressed by her love and dedication for the children in her life. As a teacher myself, I was so glad to see her enter the schools. I am sure she touched many childrens' lives, just as she touched the lives of those who worked with her at Anderson's. She will be greatly missed. I lost a sister myself suddenly 3 years ago, and it was the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with. But, I am consoled by the fact that Sara knew Jesus and she is with Him now. Please know that your entire family is in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. May God be with you all and send you His strength.
In Christ,
