Sara Merrill Obituary
Sara attended primary and high school in Canandaigua, NY, and later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brockport College. Her career was marked by significant contributions to social advocacy and later, her service in the Parks in Arizona, where she continued to impact the community positively.
In her personal time, her creativity was boundless, and she brought joy and laughter to those around her through her wonderful sense of humor.
Sara is survived by Lora, her mom, David Elling, her stepdad, and siblings William Merrill, Hannah, and David Elling, and Albert Merrill, father, Brenda Guiles (stepmom), siblings Wyatt and Priscilla Merrill.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Mertensia Park Lodge in Farmington, NY, on July 30th at noon, where friends and family will gather to honor her memory.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the SPCA. Sara's life and work left an indelible mark on her community, and she will be deeply missed.
