SARA RAIMONDI Obituary
SARA M. (SPOLTORE)
Age 84, of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family on Friday evening, January 12, 2018. Daughter of the late Albert and Philomena (Cafardi) Spoltore; beloved wife for 61 years of Pietro Raimondi; devoted and loving mother of Joseph (Christine) Raimondi, Maria Louise Raimondi, Albert (Linda) Raimondi, Joanne (Richard) Chesnos, Paul (Gabriela) Raimondi, and John (Susan) Raimondi; proud grandmother of Christopher (Amy), Angela, Kathleen, Joseph, Alessandra, Jordan, Peter, Eva, Maria and Sara Chesnos, Paolo, Daniel, Lucas, Nicholas and Elizabeth; dear sister of Bernard (Rose) Spoltore, Henrietta Spoltore, Pascal "Pat" (Nancy) Spoltore, and the late Pauline and Albert Spoltore. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Sara was an active member of St. Joseph Parish and School in Verona where she dedicated herself to the Christian Mothers and Ladies of Charity. She exhibited love and commitment to her family in Pittsburgh and extended family in Italy. Her faith and love was exhibited to friends and strangers alike. Always engaging in conversation, she welcomed everyone into her heart. Her children and grandchildren were a continuous source of pride and joy. Friends and relatives will be received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave. on Sunday evening, January 14, 2018, from 6-8 p.m. and on Monday, January 15, 2018, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, January 16, 2018, 10 a.m. St. Joseph Catholic Church, Verona. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Donations may be made in her name to McGuire Memorial, 2119 Mercer Road, New Brighton, PA 15066.
