SWANSEA -- Sarah Anne Coggeshall, 30, of Westport, formerly of Marion, died Friday, February 16, 2007, in Swansea after suffering injuries in an automobile accident.
She was born in Wareham and lived in Marion for many years before moving to Westport.
Sarah graduated from Old Rochester Regional High School in Rochester where she was on the track, field hockey and javelin teams. She then graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts, South Dartmouth.
Sarah was a Jewelry and Metal Smith Instructor at colleges throughout New England.
Survivors include her father, Malcolm H. Coggeshall, Jr. of Marion; her mother, Katherine H. Borges and her husband, Dennis J. of West Wareham; a sister, Kristin Ray of Fall River; 2 brothers, Michael Hillier of Wareham and Paul Coggeshall of Fall River; her grandparents, Arthur and Katherine Hillier of Yarmouthport; 6 nephews and nieces, Samantha, Zachary, Michelle, Joshua, Samuel and Benjamin; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Malcolm and Mildred Coggeshall.
Her graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2007, in the Little Neck Cemetery, Marion.
Visiting hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Chapman, Cole and Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., (Rte.28), Wareham.

Although we havent seen eachother in 8 years you will forever inspire me. You helped me through one of the most difficult times in my life and introduced me to many of my favorite things including the "real me". There will always be a special place in my heart for my old pal Sarahanne.

What to say... we were pen pals in elementary school and I always had fun with you in high school, field hockey, mr.howey's biology class. I do wish I knew you more after high school. My prayers are with you and you will missed.
