Mary Kay Liquori

Mary Kay (Toohey) Liguori, 80, passed away at her home in Wall, N.J. on Monday, Sept. 27, 2010. Visitation will take place at O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Highwy 35, Wall, N.J. on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, at 11 a.m. at St. Catharine Church, Spring Lake, N.J. She was raised in East Orange, N.J. and lived in West Orange, N.J. for many years before moving to Wall in 1985. She was a graduate of Clifford Scott High School, East Orange, N.J. Mary Kay worked as a customer service manager for Bamberger's and Macy's for many years in Newark, N.J., Livingston, N.J. and at the Monmouth Mall. She was appointed to the N.J. Board of Nursing by Gov. Brendan T. Byrne in 1978. Mary Kay was predeceased by her husband, Calvin A. Liguori. She was the loving mother of four sons, Rick and Karen, of Palm Coast, Fla., and Rob and Patti, Jamie and Beth, and John, all of Wall. In addition, she is survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
