Mrs. Sarah Dixon was a wonderful teacher, friend, and OES sister. Our paths first crossed in the late 50's and 60's at Lancaster Senior High School and again in the 70's through Eastern Star. Although I have not seen her in many years, she was always kind, dedicated, delightful, and a true joy to be around. Thank you, Family, for sharing her with so many of us.

Although I haven't seen Mrs Sarah in a long time, she was always one of my favorite customers at the Lancaster Harris Teeter. She had that little lazy smile that would brighten your day and take away all the issues with bad customers.
Know that the Dixon family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Sarah was a close friend of my mother (Clarkie Plyler Bourne) and in later years a close friend of mine and my rock when I was overseeing the care of my great aunt in Chester. She was so caring and a great listener and one smart lady. She also was a great seamstress and decorator and had beautiful roses which she nurtured with love. As a kid I remember playing softball with my cousins on her beautiful farm and as an adult always knew I would receive much love when arriving at her farmhouse at the end of her long gravel driveway.
With moving out west and COVID eta I lost touch a bit but had a wonderful conversation a few weeks ago which I will cherish. Rest In Peace Sarah and know that we are holding you and your family in our hearts .

Kathy and family,
I feel as though I personally knew your mom as I have heard such nice things about her. I am so sorry for your loss, but what a wonderful life she had!
Great memories for sure. You are all in my prayers. Love, Ann
