I met Sarah through a mutual friend Andrea when we were 17. We became really good friends and used to go out round Whitehaven at the weekends. We had some of the best, most special times, having lots of laughs, sharing our problems and enjoying a good boogie.

She was a great friend who I very much admired, such a beautiful, bubbly, warm person.

Our lives changed and after I moved away we lost touch. You will always be in my thoughts and memories, especially your bright smile.

My heart goes out to Scott and your daughter and family
lots of love Steph x

Sarah, a treasured friend. We first met at Workington college both aged 16, we gelled instantly and were inseperable for years to come. Some of my favourite memories of growing up are the ones spent with you and your family. Arguing over who was going to wear your converse trainers, whose hair was the blondest and which tops were we going to wear? We really did have a good laugh and great times . As the years have gone on our relationship changed, we both became mothers to our lovely daughters and didn't see that much of each other but still we kept in touch through the girls parties etc..
My heart goes out to your family who like you are lovely warm caring people.
Sarah you had an amazing ability of making friends wherever you went and lighting up a room with your beauty and personality, I will miss you and your friendship very much.
Heaven really has gained a very special angel.
God Bless Sarah
Love Lynnexxx

Sarah we heard of this tragic news while on holiday and could not believe it was true. You were always full of life and laughter and were and will remain a much respected member of staff at Distington Community School. You were always our Daughter Lucy Beth’s favourite teaching assistant and always comforted her if she was ever unsure or upset about anything.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your Husband Scott, your beautiful Daughter Anna and your parents and brother at this very sad time.

Good night and god bless you Sarah, Love Nicola & Mike Stephenson x x

I will miss you so much Mrs Jackson, you were such a wonderful teacher, and school won't be the same without you.

I have so many memories of Sarah as a young teaching assistant starting her career in my class at Distington School. She was a ray of sunshine and loved to have 'a crack' and was full of fun with her infectious laugh! She had the gift of making children and adults feel special and her sunny personality radiated from her. We were priveliged when Sarah returned to school again after getting married and having Anna. It was as if she had never left! Sarah has a special place in my heart and I know she will still be smiling and shining brightly.
Thoughts are with her family at this very sad time.
Lots of love Karen x

Sarah so young and beautiful and so full of life. Always smiling and laughing with those you cared for and who cared for you.
Just make sure your sending that georgous smile down to those who love you, so when they look above they know the that brightest star is you shining down on them.

I first met Sarah when I was training to be a Nursery Nurse at St Mary's Primary School, 12 years ago.
She was funloving and constantly happy, Sarah never had a bad word to say about anyone.
Most of all she was brilliant with the children and loved by them, as she had a natural gift of nurturing.
She was my role model.
We shared tears and lots and lots of laughter, as she had a wicked sense of humour. We stayed friends and each time we saw each other over the years we always had a good laugh, even though we didn't see each other all the time, she would talk like she had seen me the day before! That was Sarah.
She was a very loving, caring, generous, thoughtful and beautiful person, and a loving wife to Scott and a brilliant Mam to Anna.
She was my friend and I miss her

I first met Sarah swimming with my little boy John through Howgill some years ago; she was a very caring person and always asked after my son every time I saw her. I have worked with Sarah at Distington School for the past two years, and she always had the gift to make you feel at ease and was great company to be with. She always had a smile that lit up her face, our school will not be the same without her laughter and caring nature towards everyone. My thoughts and prayers are with all her family at this tragic time. God bless you Sarah xx

I can't believe this has happened. I knew Sarah when I was younger through her brother, John. I'd lost touch with the family over the last few years and never imagined something like this could ever happen.

The one thing I'll always remember is white jeans. I can still hear the calls of "Are they ironed yet?"

She'll be sorely missed by all who knew her, personally and professionally.

My deepest sympathies go out to all the family.

Sarah and I were best friends at school in the 80s but regretfully lost contact. I'm still struggling to believe that this has happened. Since I heard about the accident I keep thinking about our time as friends and everything we got up to - the singing, dancing, trips away and the time spent at each others houses generally having fun. I'm devastated and can't begin to imagine what her family are going through. My thoughts are with you all at this tragic time and I hope to visit you when I'm next in the area.
