McNICHOLAS (Sarah) Cortoon, Bohola Road, Kiltimagh and Mayo Abbey. Died 25th June 2014 Sarah's nieces, nephews and sister-in-law Sadie wish to express most sincerely our deepest appreciation and thanks to all who sympathised with us on the sad passing of Sarah and all those who attended the removal, funeral Mass, burial and sent Mass cards. A very special thank you to Canon Austin Fergus and concelebrants Fr. Kilcoyne, Fr. O'Connor and Canon Quinn for the lovely Mass. Thank you to organist Nora Colleran and soloist Mary McNicholas for the beautiful music and singing, to the Sacristan Kathy, alter servers, readers and Maureen for the flower arrangements, and all the participants at Sarah's Mass, we thank you. A sincere thank you to the Matron and staff of The Dalton Community Nursing Home where Sarah called her home for the past few years, to her home help Mary and medical staff, especially the Palliative Care Team who comforted her in her final weeks with us. Thank you to the Byrne Family, Undertakers for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements and to our wonderful neighbours Hugh, Tom, Seamus and Joe who prepared Sarah's final place so beautifully. To all her extended family and friends who made regular visits to her in the Nursing Home and a special thank you to John Ivers her former neighbour in Kiltimagh who was always so kind and helpful to Sarah while she resided there. To Ger and satff for the use of The Mayo Abbey Community Centre for refreshments and Noel Lavin for providing the lovely food. Please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere token of our gratitude and appreciation. Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in Mayo Abbey Church on Saturday 26th July at 11am.
